Hey, am I seeing a competent demon? For the first time from time immemorial? So he had to die, obviously. Sheesh…

“You killed my brother.”
Dude, come on, there’s such competition in this line of business that one gets trophy for style, at best, since the precedence is long ago taken.

Huh, is Metatron suddenly afraid of Dean? Maybe he likes meeting him only with a blade in hand. And not in a cellar. And wearing something more comfortable than rusted scrap-iron. Or apparently not? Some time later there’s no difference in the circumstances, except Dean being more pissed, and in spite of that Metatron goes into the mode “I’d thumb my nose at you (if I had free hands)”. Maybe he became unstable behind the bars? That straitjacket of his had to be meaningful… Speaking of the blade, it was the best moment of the episode, when Dean pulled it out and went to close the door… aaand then all went downright into the gutter. Dean, Alastair must be whirling in his grave, if he has one. Maybe you should take some lessons refreshing creativity from the King?

Actually, why Rowena hangs about freely, instead keep sitting in some remote and scantily furnished two by three? With no company, just in case. Well, that’s the main sign of Crowley’s creeping dementia, though by far not the only. (He said where he hide the Blade??? Just so, accidentally??? For free??? And didn’t even lie???)

Moose is the sane one now? So there must be always at least one of them? :)

I think the hashtag #lolcanon answers all those questions about things on Show that don't make sense. ;-)

I liked Claire's storyline at the end of the episode, when she couldn't go through with the plan to attack Dean. If she's going to come back though I'd like to see her as a character in her own right rather than a prop to explore Castiel's humanity or whatever.

I liked it when I heard about Claire coming back, but now I'm kinda fed up with her. I never was a big fan of rebellious youth characters anyway. Though I agree with her opinion on Castiel's deeds. Apologetic now or not, he did destroy a family and I've been pissed at him for it from Season 4.

If she's going to come back though I'd like to see her as a character in her own right rather than a prop to explore Castiel's humanity or whatever.
This. Especially that exploring Castiel's whatever doesn't work at all in this season. What he needs is more action and less suffering looks. Too much time in Sam's company, tell ya.

I'm a bit fed up with the teenager storyline too. It's OK in a show like Shameless where one expects it, but it feels pretty out of place in SPN.

Castiel needs... I don't even know what he needs. Current Castiel is so far removed from that character who made such a great entrance in S4. I just can't bring myself to care about any of the angels and demons anymore. That plot thread should've ended with the apocalypse storyline, IMO.

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!! Oh, so very much this. *groans* I appreciate every episode that has just some idea for Castiel, whatever it is. But he's mostly furniture now, moved to and fro. Come on, I'm not even such a huge fan of Misha, but even I think he deserves something to do at last...
