Friending Policy

I observed that many people announce their friending policy. I never thought it so special matter for... well, special rules, but if it's so popular, possibly there are also people who look for it on journals. So, if you're one of them, here you are. :)
If you want to watch my journal, friend away, I'm always pleased and honored by it. You don't need to ask, but if you think fit to do it, I'll be very grateful for a few words of 'why'. This entry can be a nice place for it. I'm always curious what brings people to my sites and what they find there for them and, of course, why they want to keep an eye on it.
However, don't be surprised if I won't friend back. On my part, I always ask, at least when someone didn't friend me first. I need a reason to watch a journal, and I need to associate a person behind the journal with something, anything. Or at least to have a word or two, before.
So, that's it, for now. Any question? Don't hesitate to ask.

I culled the list upon turning the journal more private. The selection criterion was "those with whom it never moved beyond "Friending? / Okay.", and who most probably won't even notice". If I made a mistake in your case, I'm willing to reconsider. :)

This entry had been originally created on LJ. This edit was made after importing it to DW.
While importing the blog, I made a decision to bring it without the friended accounts. That doesn't mean I intended to leave their owners behind. What I did intend was checking which people are still there and still interested, with hope that those willing would follow and/or reach out from their DW side. No pressure and no hard feelings from me if you decide not to. But if you recognize me (from LJ or elsewhere, doesn't matter) and want to keep up or revive our conversations, I'll be happy to welcome you again. That includes DW-friending LJ accounts, if you stay there - be assured I do not intend to and in fact would hate to lose you just because of that! I'll be also still responding to anything that happens on my LJ as long as it's afloat.
And if we have never met before but you want to give it a try, hop in, too. :)
