The Masterlist

Captain Teague by mechaniac aka Christof Stanits

It's so full of character! A very tell-tale art.

I killed Jack Sparrow by punch-house

You need to read the artist's comment. And then you'll join me in indecision - to strangle him or hug him. :}

Barbossa by euclase

Old Masters, so you're alive?!

So, anyone willing to see more recs? :)

Re the first pic; the noses are a bit oversized, but I like the composition.

Re the 2nd; I can understand punch-house's dilemma. You're supposed to try to defeat the opponent, but gee... do you want to be responsible for a world without Captain Sparrow?
(Re the 'lefty' question, Jack shows signs of being ambidextrous. Recall how he shot Barbossa with his left hand?)

Re the 3rd; I definitely detect resemblance to the Old Masters!

Thanks for picking up my Friday. :)

Heh, as for myself, the almost-caricatural style is what I like in this art the best. Looks like some book illustrations.

do you want to be responsible for a world without Captain Sparrow?
And repeatedly... XD I can see Jack mutinying at last. 'Enough! And not even a droplet of rum, eh???'
I like the ambidextrous Jack. After all, that's the only way I can accept this poster (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e8/Pirates_3_AWE_Poster_International.jpg), without saying 'Eww, Disney's people should come sober to work...'

I definitely detect resemblance to the Old Masters!
Fits the Old Pirate, doesn't it? :)

Glad to pick up any day, it's Saturday at me. :)

Ahem...
