There's that little problem, that there's hardly anything to name apart PotC, I know. But on the other hand, I'll be nicely surprised if anybody will try at all. Hello, anybody...? :)

* How I entered that fandom
The movie itself, well - I saw, I felt in love, the end. As for more details, for example: I've never seen CotBP in theatre. Didn't matter for falling, however. The passion and coming into the fandom took more time and it coincided with coming into the Internet in general. I'm discussing PotC from 2008 and a year ago I come to the English fandom, that is - a year ago actively.

* Fave character

* Least fave character
There's no one who I actually do not like. For me, one of the most important features of PotC is that it literally contains of really fine characters. But if we're talking about personal reservations, then I'm pointing at:
1. Daddy Teague. It's not that he's bad as performance, no - I have a problem with the idea itself of existing Jack's father. Existing and marching through the screen. OK, I rather suppose that Jack didn't emerge of sea froth nor wasn't brought by an albatross, but I prefer Jack as a great mystery. Teague is a crack in it.
2. Bill Bootstrap Turner. Name one thing which this chap touched and didn't bungle... Besides, he disappointed me somewhat, when showing at last, after all what we heard in CotBP.
3. Blackbeard is my big disappointment. Damn, I really hoped he's a black monster with only soft spot for Angelica, and he turned out a boring black monster with no soft spots apart his own precious ass...
That's my reasons why I love writing of virgo_79 and madam_pudifoot. I probably just needed it (besides of excellent quality). Now I'm waiting for Blackbeard's author.

* OTP(s)
The Pearl belongs to Jack, Jack belongs to The Pearl. The end.
However, I've a soft spot for Jack/Anamaria and it's not very difficult to make me believe in Jack/James.

* Pairing that everyone likes but I don’t get
Heh, I doubt if there's a pairing actually loved by everyone without exception, but let's see... Jack/Will is rather boring for me, not that unbelievable, just uninteresting. An there's no way to make me believe in truly tender feelings between Jack and Barbossa, or Jack and Beckett, or Beckett and Norrington... Wicked and dark, yes. Earnest, no.

* Fave thing about the fandom
As corrielle said, it EXISTS! It just brings much of beautiful and precious things into life. Not the least of them are some wonderful people.

* The most despised thing
Uh, despised, such a strong word... No need for it. I'd use "bringing sadness". First, that it's not so lively as in former times. Second, the miserable traces of all that silly wars over "who's the best character/pairing ever and it should be my beloved and how it is you don't see it!!11!1!!!!!1!!!!!!". Guh, it's just... well, childish.

* If there is something I would change from said movie, what would it be?
One...! Oh... James...? Groves, Gillette...? More interesting Bootstrap...? Less Clown!Jack in DMC...? Quite another ending in OST...?
Nah, if I have one try, I'll choose something tiny, but something what I really want to change. I would kick out (gently) the pirate who breaks off his frozen toe at the World's End, together with (ungently, grr) the fool who thought it's ha ha! sooo damn funny!!! Nope. It's not. The pirate's reaction including. Damn, especially the pirate's reaction.

Even as a die-hard Sparrington shipper, I can respect that. Jack/Pearl IS pretty canon, after all...

I liked the end of OST, though. What would be your perfect ending, if you could wave a magic wand and change it?

To tell the truth, I have no idea. I'd leave the after-credit scene as it is, it's my favourite one in the all series. *G* (By the way, come on! it just begs for fics, where are they...!!! :D ) But the rest...? The main lack, in my eyes, was that everything really important in this main plot peak was, in fact, between Angelica and Blackbeard. And this was a disappointment for me, cause from the very first mentions about making of PotC 4 I hoped for something involving Jack. I mean - his the hardest decision, his ordeal, his... you know. Like with the Pearl and Kraken, or Davy's heart and Will... This kind of emotional struggling. And I didn't get it, not from character(s) who I really cared about.
