Next part, being heavenly as hell.

FANARTS

Some time ago I have made a multifandom list with a choice of my favorite fanarts. It has also Good Omens in it.

Now to the art I haven’t included in the above list.

Good Omens by saniika. Ducks are shy at first…

Duucks! by tio-trile. But only at first!

Anathema Device by eiphen. Simple yet eye-catching.

Aziraphale and Crowley sketches by AurelGweillys. Accurate portraits, I’d say. ;)

Steampunk Good Omens by kyriadalyn. With these two it’s not even that much AU... More like retrospection.

Good Omens by GraphiteDoll. Most probably you know it, but on the off chance you don’t… ;)

How Good Omens Was Not Written by LittleDogStar. Or so they say. :]

[Crowley 1] and [Crowley 2] by Candra. I’ve included this artist into the big post linked up there, but these are sketches you won’t find in her dA gallery. ;)

[Crowley] by stunnerstorm. A little less typical interpretation.

GO:Late For the Worlds Funeral by quantum-witch. Who says The Four finished their ride as they started?

FICS

Growing Season by [livejournal.com profile] twitchycat
~1700; Gen-ish; G-ish; Crowley, Aziraphale, fern, philodendron, African violet and bamboo
My two cents: Actually, Crowley isn’t half bad for his plants. They at least live…

Speed Demon by [livejournal.com profile] daegaer
~2160; Gen-ish; G-ish; Crowley, Aziraphale, The Bentley
My two cents: Crowley meets his Bentley. Any questions?

Lucky Hand by [livejournal.com profile] todd_fan
~1100; Gen; G; Crowley, OC
My two cents: What happens if you meet a demon the day you’re about to step onboard a huge ship and leave England forever? And it’s April 1912.

A Matter of Convenience by Hekateras
~12900; Gen; Teen and up; Aziraphale, Crowley, Beelzebub, Metatron, Pestilence
Author’s summary: A possible take on the birth of the Arrangement.
My two cents: If I was to rec one and only one of this list, it would be this one. It has a plot, but it’s one of those enjoyable even without it; just by the dialogue and images it paints in between. And speaking of more literal images, it has an illustration, and not bad, but in my private opinion the fic itself is way better.

Learn, guys by SuperiorDimwit
~2500; Gen; T; Crowley
Author’s summary: Crowley had no real hope that his ideas would get through to Below. They were a hopelessly backwards bunch, with no sense of technology or finesse. Twenty two years later, he had long since forgotten he'd sent them that computer warranty, and the post-it note with "Learn, guys". Twenty two years later, Below delivers its response. They still haven't learnt.
My two cents: I think I know a few transport companies, public and not, that clearly must have had Crowley’s attention on them… Also, I knew this about Windows 8, just knew it!

Not Quite The Devil You Know by Taranea
SPN/Good Omens (plus other things London-located); ~47,000; Gen (with slashy winks); G; Aziraphale, Crowley (GO!, no SPN!), D. & S. Winchester, Castiel, Hastur, Alastair
Author’s summary: Dean does not appreciate being stuck in London. Anthony J. Crowley does not appreciate being 'hunted' by two lunatics. Duke of hell Hastur is extremely annoyed that two strange mortals keep interfering with his plans to get revenge on Crowley himself, and Aziraphale disapproves mildly of the word 'assbutt'.
My two cents: This. Is. Brilliant. Plot with a twist, great humour and a good dose of things downright dreadful, if you happen to be a horror fan (murderous forget-me-nots! Aziraphale’s sense of fashion! English breakfasts! singing angels! oh my…).

(Some of you may remember I recced the last one some time ago, but with crossovers I’m going to cheat this way a little and include them into both respective posts. I hope you don’t mind much.)

OTHER GOOD OMENS THINGS

On the infinitesimal possibility you don’t know Crowley & Aziraphale’s New Year’s Resolutions yet…

Also, Good Omens’s annotations. No, not those in the book.

Way back, so much back that now it’s reachable only through the Wayback Machine, there was a fansite by name Temptation. A shrine to Anthony J. Crowley. And not that the whole content was bad, but today I’m linking to it solely for its 404 page. ]:>

ZONE OF DISGUSTINGLY SHAMELESS SELF-PIMPING

Some time ago I have gathered all(?) Good Omens editions. Covers are clickable, of course. On the occasion of this rec post, it has been updated with one more, and I’m evil enough to not tell you which one. (Though technically speaking it is deductable.)

Love the ducks sketches, Anathema, and the grinning Crowley from Candra. And I have always loved the "how GO was not written" sketch.

And actually I *hadn't* seen the New Year's Resolutions, or had forgotten them if I had, so thank you for including them :)

It's classic, isn't it? :D

Last minute thought, but I see it's better to never assume something is too known. :)

I love the sepia drawing of them watching the duck - and Aziraphale feeding the ducks! The steampunk Bentley is fabulous and Aidan Turner as Crowley might just be perfect.
I, too, had not seen the Neil Gaiman New Year Resolutions so thank you so much for that!
Thank you for all of it - I thoroughly enjoyed exploring!
My icon was not made with Good Omens in mind but I suppose it fits. The original artist was JadeN1 - I photoshopped it a little (removed some colour and added the text) before iconising it.

And you? Okay, from now on, I'm not assuming anything and including all I like, no matter how much popular. :)

Thank you for all of it - I thoroughly enjoyed exploring!
Happy to hear this! I think the duck sketches are my favourite here, too. Besides Candra's art.

I prefer making my own icons too!

I wouldn't think steampunk would work with Good Omens. Surprisingly, it does :)

INCOMPETENT :D <3

Everything works with Good Omens! :)

Only HE is always competent. ;)

*hopes she'll let tempt herself also for some others* *and maybe even say something later*
