Spoilers, obviously.
Something’s wrong with me, I like almost every episode recently. But hey, this time it had more movie-like than TV-like feel – plot (except the Rowena pieces, ugh, enough), photos, music… um, not necessarily the acting though. I think I’ve got the tenfold yearly dose of pathos allowed by international health regulations. Iodide pills, anyone, please? Luckily, Timothy Omundson was a blessed antidote. I appreciated Cain at the first time, though not enough to be a big fan. Now I think I am. Too bad he (probably) won’t come back. On the other hand, if he would to be another gradually getting wasted… (Crowley, I’m looking at you.) The Father of Killers got a better ending than most of great SPN characters, and it could be only worse now. I won’t even say a word about the canon discrepancy (since previously even the Blade hadn’t been able to kill Cain? …maybe it had to be other man’s hand?).
Collecting serial killers? I’m with Dean at this. Hobby is needlepoint, and that is an illness. Or at least it doesn’t really fit Sam.
Ugh, Rowena is right, this is not a King. I hoped for different verdict: yeah, let’s follow her advice, only it’s her who’s wasting the King’s time. Instead, looks like the oh-so-deeply hurt King will go crying at Mommy’s bosom. You know, I’m still waiting when it turns out he all the time has been watching her with a clinical interest, till he’s bored and shows proper demonic horns at last… and I keep waiting… and waiting… and waiting… And he keeps showing nothing besides the growing stupor!!! Argh, cut out that last Hell scene, salt and burn it… And the chairs under the responsible writers' arses, too, when we’re at it.
Angels have wings no more (hey, I’m still waiting here for them growing it back!), but demons still can teleport. Irony is a bitch.
I was almost sure Dean would open his eyes gone black the moment he took the Blade. On the other hand, the moment he gives it Castiel should join the most popular and most often recalled scenes of the canon. Heh, curious to know, did Castiel hide it in the same place as the angel tablet?

And so we’re to wait for Dean killing Sam. This is going to be the next season’s storyline, remember I said it.
