New York, New York... being Marveled to pieces again

Hawkeye series goes next. Didn't quite expect to love it this much! :) I find it a rare case of 'on the motifs' type of adaptation (which I tend to hate vehemently) that actually works, and overall isn't necessarily worse or better, just alternative. It also proves that respecting creatively both the original material and its fandom is possible. In this case it has an underlying vibe of trying to kinda sorta retcon MCU!Hawkeye into Fraction!Hawkeye... (Aya-ified credits; tracksuit bros; car chase scenes; Lucky; LARPers replacing Bed Stuy tenants; Christmas setting) ...but there are infinite ways in which such an attempt could go very badly, and it mostly didn't, I think.
