aletheiafelinea: moving gif; a pencil drawing of a human eye shutting and then opening as a cat eye that shuts to open as the human one again, the cycle repeats endlessly (Default)
Most of friending memes on LJ focuses on fandoms, and fanworks are mentioned only in passing, at best. I love them all as much as the next person, but after the first hundred they get a bit repetitive, and what's more important, I noticed a few times people saying that their fannish life has overshadowed their other interests. So, how about this one time we try it the other way, and not only with fandom creations? :)

This friending meme is for all sorts of creative folk – amateurs and professionals alike – and all sorts of creative works – fics and original writing; fanart and original art of all media. Cooking, gardening, sewing, renovating old stuff/making new stuff and anything else I haven’t thought of counts too, as long as you show it/write about it on your journal or anywhere online. And if you don't, it's an opportunity to start. Let's make it not only about friending, but also inspiring each others. If you’re not much into creating on your own, but still interested in others’ works, you’re welcome too! :)
