I'm very happy to hear that! It can't have been an easy task, especially if you already had an image set in your head from reading the books. It's hard then to switch to a different interpretation.

If anything, at least now you know whom alumfelga and I talk about!

I remember when I was fairly new in the "Doctor Who" fandom and was fancying a different actor, and everyone was head over heals about David Tennant. I certainly didn't see the appeal, he's not the best looking guy out there, more goofy-funny. And lanky ;)

I only got into him when I did not watch him as the Doctor, but in various interviews etc., just beeing himself.

I have fancied and am still fancying a lot of other actors, and the more I add to my list the more I realize that I totally certainly have a type - and David most certainly isn't it. But he keeps blowing me away with his acting - and that wonderful voice. And in general being one of the most wonderful human beings possibly. Although I keep saying that about Tom Hiddleston as well ;)
