They're all wonderful ("sketchy" Jack! the picture captures his personality perfectly), but first one is just - WOW. Big wow. Jones seems to be literally wet/moist. Beautiful colours.

I like pastels-on-black technique. Like watercolours, it gives intriguing effect and at the same time can be surprisingly realistic.

I'd never realized how many really good Davys are out there, until you started posting 'em.

That's a fine Sao Feng pic, too- appropriately scowly.

But oooo, that Jack! What a perfect minimalist portrait!

Jack is one of my personal favourites from long time, but Davy's portrait is quite new, and I must admit I can't decide which one I like better. :)
