aletheiafelinea: moving gif; a pencil drawing of a human eye shutting and then opening as a cat eye that shuts to open as the human one again, the cycle repeats endlessly (Default)

The recs, apart being recs, are also prompts. If you write something inspired by these works, the link for your fic will be added to the entry.
The Masterlist

"But me arms were free --" by Kentti

So far, the first acceptable answer I've got for the quite obvious question: "Why Barbossa didn't cut the line first???" Or rather, the first answer I've got at all... What would we do without the fandom? :)

Jack Sparrow by ojerry

A scandalously underappreciated work in interesting technique.

Pirates of the Caribbean Will by h0taru

Deceptively careless yet well done. ;)

So, anyone willing to see more recs? :)

I'm afraid I'm addicted to comments. *g* *hugs*

Luckily! Cause he was a star in it. The second one, but still. ;D

Whoa, that Barbossa image is *so* dramatic! The OST screenwriters would probably cheer.
(And I've never wondered much why Hector didn't cut the lines- I figured it was probably 'cause they were magical.)

The Will one is a fine work too. That dissolving-in-mist quality is apt for the Captain of the Flying Dutchman.

And of course I love the smirking Jack. Cheeky knave!

Exactly! I don't know about the screenwriters, but i really like it. :)

I admit that the 'magical reason' had crossed my mind, but still I think it should be better explained in the movie. :/

Oh, you're right, indeed! I like also this not-so-obvious choice of colours.

Cheeky knave!
Aye! ;D
