Fandom Meme

A meme from [livejournal.com profile] corrielle!

Let's go. Name one of my fandoms, and I will give you these answers.

* How I entered that fandom
* Fave character
* Least fave character
* OTP(s)
* Pairing that everyone likes but I don’t get
* Fave thing about the fandom
* The most despised thing
* If there is something I would change from said game/show/movie/etc., what would it be?

There's that little problem, that there's hardly anything to name apart PotC, I know. But on the other hand, I'll be nicely surprised if anybody will try at all. Hello, anybody...? :)

Yay! You answered this for PotC! I would have asked the same question, but [livejournal.com profile] porridgebird beat me to it.

I have a problem with the idea itself of existing Jack's father. Existing and marching through the screen. OK, I rather suppose that Jack didn't emerge of sea froth nor wasn't brought by an albatross, but I prefer Jack as a great mystery. Teague is a crack in it.

YES. THIS. This a lot. (I'm a fan of the sea froth theory, myself... )

The Pearl belongs to Jack, Jack belongs to The Pearl. The end.

Even as a die-hard Sparrington shipper, I can respect that. Jack/Pearl IS pretty canon, after all...

the miserable traces of all that silly wars over "who's the best character/pairing ever and it should be my beloved and how it is you don't see it!!11!1!!!!!1!!!!!!". Guh, it's just... well, childish.

Blech. I'm SO glad the little corner of fandom I frequent is filled with nice, rational fanfolks who can behave like adults, shipping preferences aside.

Yeah... choosing one change is HARD, isn't it?? ;-)

Yay, and you commented! *runs with rum spiked tea and cookies* Have a seat, please.

*g* Now I can't drive away the vision of Botticellian!Jack. [livejournal.com profile] ladymouse2 drew it once, maybe you saw. ;)

Grr, once you think of it, they multiply as bunnies!!! Heh, and that's why they become fics when they grow up. ;)
