PotC Recs Weekly #10

In the previous issue I told about one of fanarts that I'd like to see a fic for it, meaning it looks like an illustration. To my delight, [livejournal.com profile] pearlseed replied that one of her own fits the art fine, as you can see by yourself.
So, this is my proposition: take the recs series not only as plain recs, but also prompts. I promise to add inspired fics links to the respective recs issues. How do you like it? Do you want to join the play? :)

Davy Jones being polite? The mind boggles!

That Tortugan scene is exactly right! 'Seems probable Jack and that comely wench will soon be making an upstairs exit.

Ah, the staunch Captain Will Turner! Who'd of guessed he started life as a lubber?

I certainly agree that Pearlseed's fic is a fine match to Kekse's beautiful picture. If I spot any such suitable pairings I shall notify you immediately.

What a fine selection this week! I love the Davy Jones one... so much captured in just the body language... and of COURSE that's how he tips his hat! Obviously....

The Tortuga one is fun, too... lots of motion and character there.

And the Will one... that's just hot. I love his third movie outfit quite a bit.

And what a great idea to feature fics inspired by or well-suited to the art!

I am the original slow draw. I didn't realize you had linked or whatever it is things together. You be some kind of crafty computer kid! Thanks cos I do very much love the painting and it does seem to go with the words. I'm having a blast with the prompt for the birthday. I sincerely hope others will play too cos, well, it's fun and there's precious little of that at times. Thank you for readin' writin' and cogitatin'. Makin' me laugh over here ya know.
